UR STUDIOS ARE EQUIPPED WITH UNDERFLOOR HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING TO ACHIEVE TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 29-32°C.

FRESH AIR IS PUMPED INTO THE STUDIOS FOR A BETTER YOGA PRACTICE.

 

 

Yin

 

YIN YOGA IS A SLOW PACED STYLE OF YOGA WITH POSES THAT ARE HELD FOR LONGER PERIODS OF TIME USUALLY FIVE MINUTES OR MORE.

POSES APPLY MODERATE STRESS TO THE CONNECTIVE TISSUES OF THE BODY - THE TENDONS, FASCIA & LIGAMENTS WITH THE AIM OF INCREASING CIRCULATION IN THE JOINTS & IMPROVING FLEXIBILITY.

 

 

Iyengar

 

IYENGAR YOGA, NAMED AFTER AND DEVELOPED BY B. K. S. IYENGAR, IS A FORM OF HATHA YOGA THAT HAS AN EMPHASIS ON DETAIL, PRECISION AND ALIGNMENT IN THE PERFORMANCE OF POSTURE (ASANA) AND BREATH CONTROL (PRANAYAMA). THE DEVELOPMENT OF STRENGTH, MOBILITY AND STABILITY IS GAINED THROUGH THE ASANAS.

B.K.S. IYENGAR HAS SYSTEMATISED OVER 200 CLASSICAL YOGA POSES AND 14 DIFFERENT TYPES OF PRANAYAMA (WITH VARIATIONS OF MANY OF THEM) RANGING FROM THE BASIC TO ADVANCED. THIS HELPS ENSURE THAT STUDENTS PROGRESS GRADUALLY BY MOVING FROM SIMPLE POSES TO MORE COMPLEX ONES AND DEVELOP THEIR MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT THROUGH A STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH.

HATHA YOGA REFERS TO AN APPROACH TO YOGA WHICH BEGINS WITH PHYSICAL EFFORT BEFORE CONCENTRATING ON BREATHWORK & MEDITATION.

 

 

Nidra

 

YOGA NIDRA IS A STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS BETWEEN WAKING AND SLEEPING.

IT IS A STATE IN WHICH THE BODY IS COMPLETELY RELAXED, AND THE PRACTITIONER BECOMES SYSTEMATICALLY AND INCREASINGLY AWARE OF THE INNER WORLD BY FOLLOWING A SET OF INSTRUCTIONS.
