KATIA PILATES

Katia is an accomplished ballet dancer and a committed Reformer Pilates instructor, expertly merging her extensive performance experience with a profound knowledge of functional movement and alignment. She received her training at the English National Ballet School in London, where she earned a Trinity Diploma in Dance, and later performed with the Los Angeles Ballet in California. Pilates played a crucial role in Katia's dance career, aiding her in injury recovery and maintaining optimal performance. Inspired by its benefits, she became a certified Reformer Pilates instructor upon her return to London. Katia currently provides group and private sessions, integrating the precision, grace, and technical discipline from her ballet background into her teaching. Her methodology emphasizes functional movement, posture, and alignment, empowering clients to develop strength, flexibility, and confidence. Alongside her teaching and dancing, she is advancing her knowledge by pursuing a degree at University College London (UCL), reflecting her enduring passion for learning and personal growth.
